Good Morning Singapore!
Kenny's back. Happy Chinese New Year to all and Happy Valentine's day. i know, i am late at festivities again. i didn’t have a particularly exciting new year, but the company was brilliant. We didnt do much. The singapore society met up on the eve and we had dinner at The Great Wall. Cost us each 10 pds. The kang kong tasted too salty for my liking but it was good enough for the time being. I hosted dinner for the new year. xinyi and i spent 3 hrs cooking for 10 people. It wasn’t the best of meals but it was the company that mattered. As usual, the girls will always find stomach space for ice cream though they complained that they were full with the table littered with unfinished food. We exchanged oranges (Clementine are oranges too!!) and exchanged new year greetings. man. I DO miss all that red packets, mahjong, proper reunion dinners, family and friends.

The parcel from Singapore arrived at my door on Tuesday. Upon opening it, I could feel a slight gust of singaporean air whisking past my face. Ok that was a just a little too much exaggeration. Give the guy, who hasn’t been home for 1/2 yr, a break. hee. Out came the bah guah, chinese new year cookies. maggie noodles, more maggie noodles. lap cheong, more bah guah. laksa paste, BAH KU TEH paste, Singapore Curry paste...... my mum is the greatest. i can imagine all that sweat and time put in to gather all these. thank u mummy!!! love u!!! long live the queen!!!! i don’t remember bah guah tasting that wonderful in singapore. My taste buds went for a roller coaster ride. bah guah, pineapple tarts, peanut cookies.... man. I really miss the people back home. Ok its quite incoherent saying all that but eating the goodies from singapore makes u think abt home so much more.

i hope everyone back home is doing fine. the a levels results are coming out this friday. all the best to u, JB!! ben, study hard for your prelims!!! Where is felicia??? But I have heard from the dubliners that kev and fel went back to singapore for the new year. So much for a good friend huh..hee

People, brace yourself, I will be back in 3mths time. So hold back all your tears cuz only hugs are accepted. Be back on the 27th of May. I will only accept hugs from the girls..haha nah.. Someone will kick me in the butt if she sees this. singapore here i come in 3 mths...
